ELENA Roadshow: A Year of Driving Sustainable Energy Investments

Pracsis successfully concluded its collaboration with the European Investment Bank (EIB) on the ELENA Roadshow, an initiative designed to raise awareness and stimulate applications for the ELENA facility. Spanning from May 2023 to April 2024, this project saw the organisation of 18 national events across Europe, alongside four webinars, all aimed at supporting large-scale energy efficiency projects.

Throughout the year, Pracsis worked closely with national experts and stakeholders to deliver well-attended events that reached over 1,300 participants. These sessions, designed to engage municipalities, energy agencies, and project developers, created new opportunities for technical assistance applications and highlighted the financial possibilities under the ELENA program.

Despite logistical challenges, including tight timelines and varied local conditions, the ELENA Roadshow significantly boosted interest in sustainable energy financing. The feedback from participants and stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees noting that the sessions helped clarify key hurdles and provided concrete examples of successful projects. The project’s success reinforces the critical role of targeted outreach in advancing Europe’s clean energy agenda.
