See you on Sunday @ Bruxelles-Champêtre!
It has definitely become a Brussels not- to-be-missed event. The annual Bruxelles-Champêtre is to take place this upcoming Sunday in front of the Royal Palace. Over 100 farmers, producer associations and institutions will join forces to promote sustainable food.
For the third year, PRACSIS is responsible for the design and set up of the pavilion of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development. The current Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) and its benefits will be explained as well as the environmental and health advantages of farm-based products, taking sustainability as baseline. One pavilion of 250m2 and a grass surface of 400m2 will host a great variety of activities for people of all ages: tasting of EU-labelled food products, gardening workshops and a tombola. For the youngest, a large colouring area, a blender bike, face-painting as well as tractor animations. Documentation displays, paper quizzes and information screens about the CAP will be part of the menu.
So what are you and your friends and family doing this Sunday?
