A new milestone for PRACSIS: ISO 20121 certification for sustainable events

On 3 September 2021, Bureau Veritas granted PRACSIS the ISO 20121 certification for sustainable events– a first in Belgium!

This certification marks the successful outcome of an audit process which demonstrated the quality of PRACSIS’ working processes. It marks culmination of PRACSIS’s long-term commitment to environmental, social and economic best practices.

The ISO 20121 certification establishes that PRACSIS is committed to setting clear sustainability targets, creating action plans, monitoring and measuring KPIs, and pursuing continual improvement.

In a nutshell, ISO 20121 is applicable to any organisation involved with all types of events, including conferences, congresses, exhibitions, competitions, training sessions, ceremonies, etc. It is as relevant for small conference meetings as large-scale events. ISO 20121 demonstrates in a globally recognised manner, that consistent standards are respected when implementing and upholding core sustainability principles.
