Our health, our wealth. Green Week 2015 to reconcile environment and economic growth.
As DG Environment’s main events service contractor, PRACSIS is in charge of organising the Green Week 2015, the biggest annual conference on European environment policy in the EU. Professional environmentalists are invited to attend at the Egg Conference Centre, Brussels, from 3 to 5 June. The theme will be nature and biodiversity. Around 30 debates are programmed, with key insights on environmental protection policies, farming, health, research in nature, seas and soils, biodiversity protection, and the links and benefits between the environment and the economy, exploring and showcasing practical examples which reconcile nature protection and economic growth.
PRACSIS is overseeing all communication and organisational aspects. Graphic and web designers have developed the Green Week visual identity and a multi-functional website. A large exhibition is being organised by PRACSIS events department and transport and accommodation arrangements for over 100 high-level speakers will be coordinated from PRACSIS Brussels office.
And that’s not all. Green Week is also present across Europe with Satellite Events. To celebrate and raise awareness about biodiversity, seminars, guided tours and open door days will be organised by a varied set of stakeholders: nature park owners, public authorities, civil associations, NGOs and research institutes amongst others.
PRACSIS is honoured to contribute to environmental protection, health and green growth by setting the stage for debate and ensuring that all organisational and logistical aspects allow delegates to make the most of their attendance.
And in case you are not able to attend Green Week 2015 do not worry. PRACSIS will put up a high-tech webstreaming service that will allow you to follow the debates from anywhere you might be.
